📋 Job Description

Volunteering in our White Rose shops is a diverse, exciting and fulfilling experience. We provide the opportunity for you to interchange different skills regularly so no two shifts are the same. You don’t need any experience to volunteer, all we ask is that you are motivated, hardworking and keen to learn new skills or share your experience and talents to support an amazing cause! We offer a full induction as well as ongoing training opportunities to make sure you feel confident and able to excel in your volunteer role with White Rose. Typical tasks of store volunteer: · Serving customers and taking payments. · Giving amazing customer service and interacting with the general public. · Sorting through donated items and organising delivery. · Creating eye-catching window and in store displays. · Keeping the shop tidy, clean and well organised. Where volunteering will take place: Our stores are based around Nottinghamshire and beyond. When you apply you can choose which stores suits you best!

White Rose is a small but growing chain of recycled fashion shops supporting The Aegis Trust that started in 2009. We are named in honour of a student resistance group in Germany at The University of Munich in the 1940s. We currently have 12 stores across Nottingham and beyond.. The shops specialises in men's, women's and children's clothing and accessories. The shops mission is to bring the best in high quality recycled fashion to cities around the U.K and to support the Aegis Trust in their peace building mission.

"The work tutors were really good because they spoke very neatly and I could undestand everything easily. The workspace was always clean and I had a lot of room to work. I had the possibility to talk with my collegues, who were also internationals. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to other students!!"
