We have a four bedroomed detached house with a separate annexe bed/sitting room with en-suite. We also have a large garden and are a 5 minute walk to bus stops and our small town (Kimberley) - 25 mins by bus from Nottingham.

Five 30 minute conversations
Your School House will dedicate 30 minutes to you every day, from Monday to Friday, to speak about your day, your work experience, whatever you like. Mostly conversation to ensure yourself plenty of meaningful proper speaking practice, to improve fluency.

Weekend day with the Hosts
The first Sunday your host family will do something with you, visit the School House page to see what they usually do and their interests. You may also use messaging to ask your School House about it.

Afternoon CLIL activities
Every day your School House Host will take you to see places and do things, practice your language skills while exploring and having fun! Admission tickets, transport and other extra costs, of activities are paid on top of what the School House charge for their time.

Family Description: Mum - Pauline and Dad - Andrew living at home. Daughter, son-in-law and grand-daughter all living in Kuala Lumpur having the time of their lives teaching out there. Son James and his partner Ciara live nearby in Nottingham. All happy people loving life. We enjoy the outdoors and love having visitors.

Transfers
Sometimes I can provide transport to workplaces if en-route to my work (Occasionally I work at the University of Nottingham near Beeston). Just ask Madrelingua to liaise with me.
Tours
Normally on a Sunday I offer students the opportunity to visit tourist areas nearby such as Wollaton Park and Newstead Abbey. I can fit other visits in around opening hours and hours that students work.
WOW Experiences
If you have any specific requirements just ask. I am happy to take to a concert, theatre, church if you wish to go. (I would expect the student to pay for tickets).
