Five 30 minute conversations

Your School House will dedicate 30 minutes to you every day, from Monday to Friday, to speak about your day, your work experience, whatever you like. Mostly conversation to ensure yourself plenty of meaningful proper speaking practice, to improve fluency.

These conversation sessions may be done in the morning or afternoon, suggested times are 9.30 am to 10.30 am , half hour break, and again 11.00 am to 12.00 am from Monday to Friday.

Every day your School House Host will take you to see places and do things, practice your language skills while exploring and having fun! Admission tickets, transport and other extra costs, of activities are paid on top of what the School House charge for their time.

Family Description: My name is Jacqueline, although i am commonly known as Jackie I am highly experienced and dedicated caregiver with a long standing commitment to supporting children and young people within a safe, nurturing and structured home environment. i am the parent of four adult children Shaun 45, Davina 42, Keshia 39, Nathan 35 All of my children live independently and are in stable employment Two of my children are married and i maintain positive relationships with all extended family including inlaws. I am also a proud grandmother to a large diverse family 12 biological grandchildren 3 adopted grandchildren the age range from 2 -21 years old which has provided me with extensive hands on experience in supporting young people across different development stages. In addition to raising my own family,I have significant experience in caring for children outside my immediate family I have previously supported foster children and have undertaken special Guardianship responsibilities, demonstrating my ability to provide stability, care,and advocacy for children outside in need of secure placements. I live in a spacious four bedroom home,which is well equipped to accommodate children and young people comfortably. The property includes four single beds and one double bed, allowing flexibility depending on placement needs. My home environment is warm, welcoming, and structured,with a strong emphasis on safety, respect,and emotional wellbeing. For over 25 years, I have also hosted students for both short-term and long-term stays.This experience has strengthened my ability to support individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them to feel settled, included, and valued within my home. My home features a South -facing garden, which provides a pleasant outdoor space for relaxation and activites. I encourage time outdoors where appropriate,including shared meals and social interaction,which contribute to a positive and supportive environment. I maintain an active and healthy lifestyle i am a member of my local leisure center where i participate in aqua fit sessions. i also make use of the sauna and steam room facilities as part of my wellbeing routine Additionally, I am involved in a local pool team, which supports social engagement and teamwork. my personal interest include cooking, playing board games reading and organising picnics i actively encourage children and young people in my care to explore their own interests and hobbies i am flexable and supportive in helping them access activites that promote their personal development and confidence. Overall i am committed to providing a safe stable welcoming and caring environment where children and young people can thrive fell respected and reach their full potential
